I am a life-long resident of Thunder Bay.
I grew up in the Red River Ward and now reside in my childhood home. I will bring a strong volunteer activism to help revitalize our great community.
Working bingos at the Volunteer Pool as a teenager in support of youth sports programs, presently volunteering at Port Arthur Legion, and teaching computer classes at the Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre, I know what it is like to give back to the community, and that's why I want to run for council.
I am married, with four adult children and nine grandchildren; as well, I've run my own successful computer business for over 24 years.
As President of the Thunder Bay Business Exchange, Vice-President of PARO Centre, Past Chamber Board Member, and Past Chair of the Small Business Development Committee, I bring a wealth of experience which I will use to improve not only the Red River Ward but the entire city.
Thunder Bay is a changing community, and a strong small business approach, in conjunction with a strong tourism economy will ensure Thunder Bay moves to a positive future.
Our city has infrastructure problems which need new approaches; we have reconciliation issues that need to be addressed, and we need new and strong voices on council to bring fresh ideas backed by experience.
I have that experience and look forward to meeting with you and hearing your concerns.
I WILL return your calls and WILL work with you to improve our community.
